Energy Flow of the Fantail
Food chains of the fantail:
* Small insects - Fantails - Stoats, possums etc.
* Berries - Fantails - Stoats, possums etc.
* Fantail eggs - Rats - Hawk (NZ)

If the fantail was removed from the ecosystem it is in. It wouldn't do much harm because the animals that actually eat the fantail for example the stoat eats other things such as birds eggs, and other small birds.
The things that the fantails eat like small insects and berries would have more. Because the fantail wont be eating them.
